SENATOR J. 51* McCORMICK. (Sydney "Sun" Cable.) WASHINGTON. February 26. Senator Joseph Mediii McCormick, a prominent politician,. was found dead in bed. lie died from heart failure. Senator McCormick \vrs.4S years of uro at the time of his death, having been born at Oiioago in 1877. lie was publisher of the “(‘hieasro Tribune.” He was chairman nf . the Progressive National Committee from 1912 to 1914, and was twice elected to the Illinois General Assembly. He represented Illinois in the American Senate from 1919,
