HOW MUCH TO EAT
AMERICAN EXPERIMENTS. STUDENT’S FASTING DIET. 3 Reuter’s Telegram. (Received February 26, 8.50 p.m.) VAUCOUVER, February 25. Harold Hoick, a university medical student in Chicago, will to-day begin a two-year fasting diet, the opjecfc of which is to determine the exact amount of food necessary for keen thinking. He will eat only when hungry. For the past two years the amount of food normally consumed has been recorded. Mental tests, which have shown Hoick normally efficient, will be continued during the diet period, at the end of which experts expect to be able to work out the ideal human ration.
