Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Johnsonville Town Board, held on TUESDAY, the tenth day of February, 1925, the following resolution was passed:— The Johnsonville Town Board, in exercise of the powers vested in. it by the Town Boards Act, 1908, The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and its amendments, and particularly in exercise of the powers veste# in it by Section 355 of The Municipal- Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1903, and its amendments, and particularly the Public Works Amondmbnt Act, 1924, and, in pursuance and exercise'of every other authority or power, enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes by Special Order the following By-law: The short title of this By-law is Tho Johnsonvillo Town Board Heavy Traffic By-law, 1925. The object and purport of the By-law are » 1. To define heavy traffic. 2. To provide for the licensing by the Wellington City Council of vehicles engaged in heavy traffic bn any street or road within the Johnsonville Town District, and the license fees to be paid in respect of various classes of vehicles. 3. To provide that every license so issued shall extend to and be available within tho districts of the Wellington City Council, the Petone Borough Council, the Lower Hutt Borough Council, tho Eastbourne Borough; Council, the Johnsonville Town! I Board, the Upper Hutt Town, Board, ! the Hutt County Council, and the 1 Makara County Council. 4. To provide that the Wellington'''City Council shall collect all license fees i and to provide tho method of disi tribution of such fees amongst the i said local autboritios. 5.
