LONDON WOOL BALES MARCH SERIES. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received-* the following cablegram from their London house, under date of 24th instant: — “The list of arrivals closed on February 23rd. The following vessels have arrived in time for the sales: Karamea, Tainui, Mahana, and Cumberland. "The probable quantity of wool to be offered' is 112,000 bales." LONDON TALLOW MARKET The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from it« London office, under date February 25th : "Tallow.—The market has declined '3b 6d per ewt. Prices slumped owing to holders reducing the limits of parity prices on South American Jots, The result was that the quantity sold was far in excess of the disposals at any Tccent auctions.
