SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
On Sunday next the misaioner* the Rev. James and Mrs Moore, -will resume their duties at the above institute, the work in tho meanwhile having been carriod on by a band of workers, who have carried out their various duties in all branches of the work. Some good meetings and social evenings have been held, of which appreciation has been expressed by the men. One pleasing featuro has been the Sunday services, and the lusty singing of the men at the song services has been a feature. The thanks- of tho institute are given to the various citizens for their help in all directions for books, etc.
