FALSE PRETENCES
TRAVELLER SENT TO PRISON. COMMISSION ON BOGUS ORDERS. . Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 19. In the Police Court Harry Edward ’Phillips, aged 24 years, employed as a traveller for an electrical firm, Was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for obtaining money'by false pretences. There were 43. charges. The method adopted by the accused was to lodge bogus orders-on which he secured Commission. ■
