.QUEENIE WINS OCEAN RACE-. i Per Press Association. TAURANGA, December 27. Boxing Day was ushered in with a heavy easterly, and driving rain all day entirely prevented outing of ady kind; To-day broke dull, and a heavy shower fell early; but the weather is now per; feet for the-annual regatta, for which record entries have been received. The ocean yacht race from Auckland, which started on Christmas Eve, finished about midnight on Christmas Day,' and was won by Queenie, with 45, seconds to spare; Moaha was second, - and Waitangi third. The race took longer than usual, owing to the light winds.
