SEARCH FOR OIL
AUSTRALIAN EXPEDITION. TO PROSPECT -NEW GUINEA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright SYDNEY, December 24. An expedition to explore the Sepnik Valley in the mandated territory of New Guinea for oil will leave Sydney shortly. Permission has heen given to search over 1000 square miles of territory, and it is expe'eted that, the expedition wil] be engaged for 12 months. It will be in wireless communication with Sydney all the time.
