LOCAL FERRY SERVICE
PROBABLE INCREASE IN FARES.
It is understood that the Eastbourne ferry service fares will be increased rather substantially from January Ist next. It is proposed on that date to increase the fares to Day’s Bay and Rona Bay to Is 9d return, tlio present 6cale being Is 6d. The monthly ticket will be increased from £1 to £1 7s 6d, while those living outside Eastbourne will have to pay something like 10 per cent, more than this. Season and family tickets are also to be increased.
