MOTOR ACCIDENT
CAR GOES OVER BANK. POSTMASTER IN SERIOUS CONDITION. Per Press Association. PAHXATUA, December 18. Through a motor accident at Campbell’s Gully, at Kaitawa, Rinemoa road, ‘ yesterday .afternoon, J. ■J. France, postmaster at Kketahuna. was seriously’ditjured, and is in a critical condition fir the local hospital. The oar went over, a bank. Other'occupants were H. Scott, post office chauffeur, Wellington, and H. McGill, senior olerk, General Past Office, Wellington. The farmer suffered a flesh wound on the thigh, and McGill a few bruises.' It was k very wet day, and at a dangerous bond the steering gear failed to respond. McGill had been sent out by the department to take ap independent ballot of settlers regarding the Pahiatua-Eketahuna rural delivery.
