CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
HOLIDAY HOURS. For the Christmas and New Year holidays this year there will be prac iical uniformity throughout all the retail trades in the matter of shopping hours and late nights. It has been decided to observe the principal holidays as follow Wednesday, Christmas Eve, 8.30 a.m. till 10 p.m.; Saturday, December 27th, 8.30 a.m. till 1 p.m.; Wednesday, December 31st, 8.30 a.m. till 10 p.m. j Saturday, January 3rd, 8.30 a.m. till 1 p.m. These hours will apply to the businesses of grocer®, jewellers, booksellers,, fancy goods retailers, drapers, clothiers, mercers, and booksellers.
