TENNIS
EAST HABBOtTU TOURNAMENT. It is anticipated that the second East Harbour tennis tournament, to take plAce on the municipal courts at Eastbourne from December 26th to 30th (both days inclusive), will be well patronised. Already a large number of entries have been received from all parts of the province. and when entries close at 4.30 thus afternoon, it is expected that a further Wellington record will have been created. The programme includes East Harbour championship singles for men. as well as n lengthy list of handicap and championship event? for men. ladies, girls and boys. The draw will be available next Tuesday. Play is to commence at 10 n.m. each day, and will continue right through without any adjournment for
lunch. For boys* and girls* classes, players must not be older than 18 years of age to-dav. Mr W. J. Melody has been appointed handicafper for the tournament, which is being controlled by the Muritai Tennis Club.
