FOR NEW GOVERNOR
ADDRESS OF WELCOME. The Mayor (Mr R. A. Wright, M.P.) is to present a special address of welcome to Their Excellencies Sir Charles and Lady Fergusson on next Tuesday evening. The address will be handed to the new Governor-General in the Town Hall on the occasion of a civio reception. A special musical programme worthy of the occasion is being arranged.; All officers of the New Zealand Military Forces, No. 6 Regimental District, ttiry Foroes, No. 6 Regimental District, a p.m'. this evening, Wednesday 10th inst, at the Garrison ' Hall, Buckle street, for the purpose of making their arrangements in connection with, the arrival of His Excellency the GovernorGeneral on Saturday, the 13th inst. The regiments are: 6th Mounted Rifles, sth, 16th and 19th Batteries N,Z: Artillery, Central Depot; N.Z. Engineers, Central Depot N.Z. _ Corps of Signals, Ist Battalion Wellington Regiment, Central Depot N.Z. Army Service Corps, Central Depot N.Z. Medical Corps. AH senior cadet companies dress-mufti.
