MURDER CHARGE
SHUTES REMANDED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 14. On a charge of assault on Oscar Arthur Jenson, with intent to do bodily harm, Benjamin Harrison Shutes was committed for trial, reserving his defence on the two charges of having murdered Louis Short, and having assaulted Frederick James Sands. Asoused was remanded for eight days.
