NAVAL DISASTER
JAPANESE LAUNCH SINKS. LOSS, OF LIFE. Reuter’s Teleeraiu. . TOKIO, September 12. A launch belonging to the flagship Nngato was sunk by colliding with the battleship’s torpedo-boat, and it is understood that between ten ami twenty men were drowned. Few details are yet available. The launch collision' occurred, according to the Navy Department, at the entrance to the harbour, when the launch was transferring more than a hundred men to tho Nagato after shore leave, in heavy rain. The launch sank immediately after the collision'.
