ATTEMPT AT REVOLUTION
MINISTRY FOR WAR ATTACKED. LEAKER ARRESTED; Renter’s Telegram. LISBON, September 12. Another abortive attempt at revolution has been made. Parties of Communists, including soldiers, attacked the Ministry of War. the telegraph station, and the Customs House. The revolt failed, and the leaders were arrested. The Government has the situation thoroughly in hand. Those revolutionaries who occupied the Customs House fled. Perfect order reigns. The arrested men include officers, sergeants, and sailors. ARRESTS ORDERED COMPLETE CALM PREVAILS. Reuter's Tcleccram. (Received September 14, 5.5 p.m.) LISBON, September 13. The Government has ordered the arrest of members of the directory of the Radical Party. Complete calm prevails.
