Cable Association (Received September 12, 9.15 p.m.) ATHENS, September 11, Greeoe is threatened with a serious mutiny. It originated with the officers of the Thirty-fourth Regiment, all of whom have been arrested, and will be severely punished. The Government’s severity, however, is powerless to check the movement, and a mutiny on a grand scale is being planned for the forthcoming manoeuvres. Defalcations running -into immense sums have -heien committed by officers having access to military funds. A number of arrests have been made. FLEET LAID UiP. The Greek Cabinet decided last month', owing to the officers’ political agitation and a threatened mutiny, to pay off the whole complement of the fleet, which wae to be laid up.
