HON. MR COATES’S CRITICISM. RESOLUTION OF PROTEST. Per Press Association; AUCKLAND, September 11. , The Auckland branch of the P. and T- Officers’ Association to-night carrie-i the following resolution: —“This asso oiation view with marked regret and extreme disfavour the use by the Post master-Genefal_of expressions ‘disloyalist’ and ‘jmdepntent6’ in connection with the sendee, and the branch jeaffirmed its , confidence in the executive and challenge anyone to substantiate a charge of disloyalty to the department, ahd wilful inefficiency 'in the service.” It was resolved to telegraph all members of Parliament demanding that no further reduction in taxation take place until the salary cuts have been restored.
