PROFESSIONALS MATCH. AMERICANS BEAT FRENCH. Reuter’s T*i«rr»m PARIS July 4. At Chantilly golf course Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen (America) defeated the leading French professionals, Amaud Massy and Jean Gassiat, in a 36-hole .four-ball match, by 2 up and 1 to play. The stake waa 10,000 francs.
