PROGRESS AT NORTHLAND.
The task of the Northland tunnel grows less for tho workers there. Tho long approach and retaining wall completed, the gang, having finished the preliminary cut into the hillside (known technically as a ‘ ‘cut and cover’ ’) has begun the first conoreting, and now attacks the tunnel proper.
