At the Stadium Collins defeated UTen on points after one of the finest contests seen here for years. Both men were at the top of their form, and were well matched. After 13 rounds of hefty fighting between Dale and France, the referee decided that France was unable to continue, as both his eyes were closed by heavy blows, and he was (practically unable to see his opponent. At closing time at noon on Saturday the box plan showed that while there are still a fair number of seats to he had in advantageous positions, the booking was a record for the association, and with the usual last day’s demand for tickets to-day. only a limited number of tickets will be available for sale outside the hall. The officials of tho association particularly ask patrons to make a point of being at the Town Hall somewhat earlier than usual. Only tickets for tho actual seating accommodation will be disposed of and when that is complete the selling boxes will be closed.
