UNDESIRABLES IN COUNTRY. FARMERS FEEL STRONGLY. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, March 21. Strong support was forthcoming at the meeting of the -Marlborough provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union for the following remit forwarded by the Seddon branch: “That this branch objects to the practice of justice* in sending objectionable persons into the country on account of the isolation of homes, and the poor protection generally by Hie police who have large areas to control.” The motion was carried unanimously after several members had expreseed themselves strongly on the matter.
