BERRIMAN’S MURDER
APPEAL, DISMISSED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received March 20, 6.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 20. The High Court dismissed Angus Murray’s appeal against the death sentence for the murder of Berriman. Mr Berriman, manager of the Hawthorne Bank, was shot and robbed of £IBSO in condemned bank notes by thieves on October Bth, Angus Murray later was convicted of the crime.
