IGNORANCE INDEED. The Dalai Lama, says a recent ex plorer from Tibet, has never heard of Mr Lloyd George. Other examples of colossal ignorance are provided by a “London Opinion” contributor:— The Scotch Presbyterian Bishop of Hokitika (N.Z.) has never had a bet in his life. The Grand High Nif of Basutoland has never seen a game of ice-hockey played by Eskimo professionals. The Bim-Bam of Nowamuggcr has never ridden in a motor-bus.’ Tho Blind Shirtzoff of Manchuria has never set eyes on a banana. Tho oldest inhabitant of Criccieth has never heard of the Dalai Lama.
