Argyle, Chief Secretary and Minister for Health. Mr D. S. Omen, Minister for Lands and Immigration. Mr Eggleston, Minister for Railways and Assistant-Treasurer. Mr H. Isaac Cohen, Minister for Public Works and Mines. Mr J. Gordon, Minister for Agriculture. and! Water Supply. (Received March 19, 9.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 19. The new State Ministry was sworn in.' After preparing its policy the Ministry will probably not meet Parliament till after Easter. A short session and an early election are predicted. The Farmers’ Union is already preparing for an election, declaring it better to go to the country and secure a workable majority than to carry on under the present conditions. The Cabinet has been formed without including any members of the Country Party, which decided last week to end the ooalition. The Ministers thus excluded are Messrs John Allan, F. E. Old, and G. L. Goudie. Messrs Cohen and Gordon were honorary Ministers in the old Cabinet.
