KIA ORA CLEARS. The S.S. and A. liner Kia Ora sailed from Timaru for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe, at noon on Tuesday. PORT CHALMERS ARRIVES. The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Port Chalmers arrived at Wellington at 11 a.m. yesterday from Napier in continuation of her voyage from New York and Newport Nows. The vessel on completing discharge of her Wellington cargo, will sail for Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is to clear the last-mentioned port on March 25th for Australia.

REMUERA SAILS SATURDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company’ll liner Remuera is to sail from Wellington at daybreak on Saturday for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island and Panama. All heavy luggage must be alongside the vessel to-day or by noon to-morrow, and cabin luggage must be alongside by 4 p m. to-morrow. Passengers are requested to embark before 8 o’clock on Friday evening. Accommodation on the Remuera is fully booked. WESTMORELAND FOR LONDON. Tho Westmoreland is due at Wellington to-morrow from Napier to replenish bor bunkers. The New Zealand Shipping Company expects to dispatch the voted from Wellington on Monday for London, via Monte Video arndl Las Palmas. MAHANA’S GOOD RUN. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mahana, which arrived at Aucklandl on Sunday evening, made a very smart trip out. from Liverpool, the elapsed time on the voyage (from tho time of' leaving Liverpool to the time of arrival at Auckland) being 35 days 13 hours. The average speed on the run was 13.5 knots and between Panama and Auckland 13.73 knots was reached. The Mahana has made some excellent passages, of which this latest run is the best. Captain W. A. R. Kershaw is in command of the Vessel, which is expected at Wellington on Tuesday next. She later proceeds to Lyttelton and Dunedin. TRANS-PACIFIC STEAMERS. The R.M.B. Maunganui, which left Wellington on lost, arived at Sydney at 8 a.m. yesterday. The Tofua, from Samoa and Tonga, Rrrived at Suva last evening. She leaves there this evening for Auckland, where she is due on Monday next. I

CITY OF WINCHESTER. The City of Winchester, loading in the Dominion, under the Shaw-Savill agency, sails at daybreak to-day for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. lONIC’S PASSENGERS. The S.S. and A. passenger steamer lonic arrived at Auckland on Tuesday evening, and her passengers were to leuve by train at 2 p.m. yesterday. This train it-, due here at 6 p.m. to-day. TAINUI’S DELAY MINIMISED. The 8. S. and A. liner Tainui leaves Port Chalmers on Wednesday, March 26th, for Lyttetlon and Wellington. She is due here on March 27th, and sails at daybreak on April 4th for Southampton and London, via Panatna. The ShawSavill Company has thus reduced the delay of the vessel to two days. MAHANA DUE. The Shaw-Savill liner Mahana is due at Wellington from Auckland on Tuesday, March 25th. CANTERBURY STEAMERS. The Gale sails to-day for Picton and Wanganui, anl is due back on Sunday, sailing again on Monday for Lyttelton, Timaru, and 1 Dunedin. OMBILIN FROM AUCKLAND. Messrs Johnston and Co. advise that the Ombilin is expected to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington to unload a further portion of her cargo of sleepers and hardwood from Bunbury. The vessel will leave here about March 30th for Dunedin to complete discharge. She will subsequently load at Wellington, Auckland, Napier, and Dunedin for Singapore, Calcutta, Japan, and other Eastern ports. PORT VICTOR AT LONDON. Adviee has been received by the Commonwealth and Dominion Line that their Port Victor, which left Wellington on February 2nd, arrived at London on Tuesday morning. CITY OF EASTBOURNE. The City of Eastbourne is to leave Napier to-day, and is due in port to-morrow to put out cargo from New York. Sho is to sail on Monday for New Plymouth.
