PATHANS PUNISHED
ARMED MARAUDERS. CAUGHT BY INFANTRY. (Sydney “Sun” Cable.) CALCUTTA, January 29. On hearing that a band of anmed Path an* had entered a village in his State and plundered the houses of two rich men of 15,000 rupees of loot, the Maharajah of Bari a dispatched a party of infantry in motor-lorries and himself followed a little later. The infantry encountered the Dacoits. ’Two of the latter were killed, several were wounded, and five were captured.
