POSSIBLE SETTLEMENT. PROPOSALS TABLED. Renter’s Telotrram. (Received January 29, 12.30 a.m> LONDON, January 27. Fresh hopes of a railway settlement have been raised by an interview of the Trades’ Union Mediation Committee with the railway managers, whereto was submitted a formula which it is understood the locomotive men’s executive previously approved.
