“MASTER” MUST GO
OFFENSIVE TERM. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 28, 8.45 p.m.) LONDON, January' 28. Speaking at a Labour meeting, Bevin Dockers, K. 0., said that the term “master” must bo wiped out of the dictionary altogether. The word implies servility; it is the antithesis of equality. The slave days had passod ana the only slavery which exists was due to men’s willingness to accept the position.
