TWO PARLIAMENTS
CANTERBURY SUGGESTION. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 28. It was suggested by the Mayor (Mr Flesher), at a meeting of the City Council to-night, that the progress of the South Island was being impeded by the Parliamentary domination of the North Island, and that the only alternative was the creation of a South Island Parliament.
