RAILWAYMEN’S WAGES
INCREASE URGED. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, January 28. Tho South Auckland branch of the Railway Officers’ Institute carried the following resolution: —‘ ‘That owing to the rapidly-increasing cost of living we consider the time has arrived to request that the reduction of salaries under the Publio Service Adjustment Act be reinstated, and the Minister pressed to re-establish the Wages Board previously constituted.”
