Mr H. W. Uru, M.P. for Southern Maori, is a visitor to Wellington. Mr A. D. McLeod, M.P. for Wairarapa, is in Mr Albert Bussell, of Wellington, has been visiting Auckland and Hamilton. Colonel Noel Adams, formerly of Featherston, who recently returned to the Dominion from England, has returned to Auckland from a visit to Wellington. Captain Shirley Falcke, who recently arrived in Wellington from Sydney, leaves for Auckland towards the end of the week. Owing to tho fact that he had to preside at the official welcome to the Prime Minister (Mr Massey), tho Mayor (Mr It. A. Wright, M.P.) was unable to lie present at the corporation stag picnic at Day’s Bay yesterday.
