RETREAT OF CLERGY
AT LOWER. HUTT. REPRESENTATIVE GATHERING. A retreat for the clergy cf the Wellington anid 'Wlalirarapa A'rdhdeacoii-: aries opened yesterday at Lower Hutt, with the Bishop of Wellington (Right Rev. Dr. Sprott) presiding. The Ven A. L. Hansoll, archdeacon of the Wairarapa, and the Ven A. M. Johnson, archdeacon of Wellington, are also present with a number of their clergy. The Wairarapa representatives numix;r four. The retreat will last urtil Friday.
