The first annual meeting of the Wairarapa Motor Club was held on Tarataui racecourse to-day in glorious weather. The attendance was very good. P. Co'eman proved to he the pick of the competitors, carrying of three firsts and two seconds out of five stars. L. Mangirun, who was expected to defend tho Elgar Cup, was present, hut owing to an injured leg could not ride.
