Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated January 25th, 1924 : C notations. —New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb. 28/42, 10id; North Island lamb, 28/42, lOJd; prime Canterbury mutton. £6/64. none offering; North Island mutton, 56/64, 7Jd; ewes. 48/64, 6|d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, hinds and fores, none offering." KEEN DEMAND FOR FAT STOCK. At the weekly sale of stock at tho Westfield market, fat cattle totalled 679 head, comprising 439 steers, 229 cows and heifers, and 11 bulls. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a very good entry of both sheop and cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday, the 25th instant.
