ERRAND BOY’S LUCK. RECOVERS LOST PEARLS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, January 24. A Woman, lost a pearl necklace valued at £ISOO in a Manchester street. The insurance assessors offered £l5O for its recovery. A treasure hunt in the mud ensued, and finallv an errand boy found 121 pearls, all but nine of the necklace. The boy receives £l4O. The corporation lent its streetcleaners, who cleared the drains, but without success.
