It was reported at the meeting of the Hutt Road Board yesterday that the Cummer asphalt plant at Ngahauranga had been belowi-ag forth huge volumes of smoke, and was doing serious damage to twe houses on the hill. •To meet this difficulty, the board gave instructions for another house to be provided for Mr Hunt and his family until their place is habitable again, which will* be about the middle of May.
