RIFLE SHOOTING

FETONE RIFLE CLUB. SECOND COMPETITION: SECOND SERIES. The second competition, second series, was fired at Trentham on Saturday, the ranges being 800 andi 1000 yards. The conditions were very trying, the wind varying from about thirteen degrees right, to six left. At 800 yards H. Feist put on a clever 46 and TJ- Warburton 44; at 1000 yards A. Weir put on a good 44, commencing with a magpie and also finishing with one, his other hits being well in the centre; D. Guiney and W H. Ballinger scored 41 caoh. A. Weir was top scorer for the day and win 6 the A spoon, W. Body the B, and R. Mockridge thq C spoon. The following are the scores
