ATTACK DURING THE NIGHT

On going to *a general store in Excelsior, Kingston, of which Mrs Longhurst, an elderly widow, is the proprietress, a neighbour found the door locked. She entered the premises and j fotind Mrs Longhurst lying in a bath I in which there was a small quantity of | water. Airs Longhurst was in a dazed i condition, suffering considerably .. from shock, but before her removal to hospital she stated that she had beery attacked by two men.
