LAND TAX
COMING IN F AIRLY WELL. Only six days remain for the payment of land tax, as the 21 days of grace allowed under the Act expire on November 30th. The payments are coming in fairly well from the different parts of the country. The last "Gazette” contains new -regulations issued under the Land aDd Income Tax Act passed last session. For the most part the regulations are the sane as heretofore, only a few minor alterations having been made.
