MANGAHAO SCHEME
A notice in the “Gazette” states that, two pieces of land, of a total area, of three acres, have been taken by the Publio Works Department for the development of the Mangahao waterpower. The land is at Mangamaire, near Paliiatua, and is to he used for the erection of a sub-station. The acting-prime Minister (the Hon. Sir Francis Bell) and the Minister for Internal Affairs (the Hon. R. F. Bollard) visited Mangahao yesterday.
