The price of Newcastle coal at the Eastbourne depot has been raised to 4s 6d pea- bag, according to the general manager's report. The council's drays were now doing the delivery work until such time as the Ford truck was ready. Sales for October totalled £7B 8s 6d, and expenditure £45 8s 9d. Receipts from April Ist to October 31st totalled £607 Os 9d, expenditure £568 2a lid.
