A letter of protest from Councillor H. M. Jones was tabled at Inst evening’s meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council. This referred to the necessity of a representative of The general purposes committee being upon the finance committee. Councillor Jones, however, failed to state his reasons in the letter, and on a vote It was decided not to receive it. Oounicillor Jones will raise the matter again at a future date
