REMARKABLE CURES REPORTED.

Per Press Association,

NAPIER., October 31. Philip G. Addis, of Port Aliuriri. who received compensation for total disablement of his right arm four years ago in Napier, to-day walked out of the Hickson Mission looking for a reporter. Addis was ablo to lift his arm without tho slightest restriction. Doctors failed to do him any good, and his case is well-known. A young woman, almost blind, said her sight had wonderfully improved. A case of deafness is also reported to have been cured, and all visitors claim 'great spiritual uplift.

WANGANUI HOSPITAL PATIENTS.

On inquiry at tho Wanganui Hospital it was ascertained that there were six patients .who attended the Hickson Miisision at Palmerston. Only two of those patients have returned to the institution, and olio is a lady who has benefited a little in regard to her eyesight. The other one is a little girl, but os far as thoso in the institution can observe she has not derived any benefit. In regard to the other cases, two were of a chronic nature, and one of a littio boy suffering from infantile paralysis. No report has been received as to whether or not they had benefited by tho laying on of hands. On going away tho little boy was very cheerful, and felt certain he would bo cured, and that lie would not bo coming back to tbe hospital.
