M. Jouraux, the French delegate, declared that the Italian delegate did not represent the Italian workers, as he belonged to the Fascist organisation, which waa composed of both workers and employers. A number of Fascists in the pnblio gallery protested noisily. M. Jouraux refused to withdraw bis remarks, and the disturbance continued till the police ejected the interrupters. Later the validity of tho Italian delegate’s credentials was questioned, and the Conference by 63 votes to 17, upheld their validity.
