Tho Japaiosc insurance companies have announced theiv readiness to pay 10 per cent, of the claims in the devastated area, totalling 1500 million yen. The Government will give the companies financial assistance, arid guarantees that the existing concerns will continue business. Inns the iutetests of tho policy-holders outside the devastated areas will he protected.
