It is officially stated that during th© week-end 13 outbreaks of foot and mouth disease occurred, making 160 riru.o August. So far 476-5 cattle and 6279 sheep havo been slaughtered, costing £158,000. Tho pr#rta of Glasgow and Greenock have l**en closed against Canadian and Irish store r«ttle. Fat cattle will bo allowed to land, subject to slaughter within 96 hours.
