PLEADED GUILTY
THEFT OF ArOTOR-CAR
FOUND AT AUCKLAND. Two young men named Francis Alexander Millar and Sydney Alfred Bennett, who were indicted on a charge of theft at the present criminal sessions, intimated ywtorday that they intended pleading guilty. This, of course, obviated a trial. They appeared later before jNtr Ju*. Lice llco.d, who said he did not propose to pass sentence just then, but would do so later. The accused, one of whom could not restrain giggling in a somewhat foolish manner, when called upon to plead, were charged with the theft of a Ford motor-car, also benzine, oil, etc., ns well as a case of apples. The motor-car was the property of the Wellington Corporation, and was found at Auckland.
