WELLINGTON SOCIETY. The Wellington Homing Pigeon So* ciety held its weekly race from Frankton Junction on Saturday. The weather on liberation war, showery, .with a southerly win*V The placed birds weTO as follow.—Mr J. H. Clark’s blue ticked cock. W 1921-103 came first with a velocity of 339.9 yards per minute. Mr E. Ncow«on\s blue chequer hen W, 1920-060. came second, with 831.3 yards; Mr W. E. Clark’s blue chequer pied cock W. 1922-300, third with 831.2 vards, and Mr G. Wilson’s vlue chequer cok W. 1922-31, fourth, with 328 yards. According to the velocities tho weather must have been troublesome. Next week’s race will be from Auckland.
