TAXATION OF BETTING
BARE MAJORITY IN FAVOUR
REPORT TO GOVERNMENT.

The “Star’s” political correspondent Understands that a bare majority of the Betting Tax Commission is in favour of the principle of the tax, but the committee will probably content itself by reviewing the evidence, and leave the House of Commons to decide the issue.
